FAQ
The questions everyone asks first.
What is Coreframe Labs?
Coreframe Labs Ltd is a UK-registered software agency building AI automation and agentic systems that survive contact with production — voice agents, WhatsApp/omnichannel intake, and n8n/Make integration hardened with retries and idempotency. That's backed by AI and machine-learning features, RAG pipelines, full-stack products, data infrastructure, and performance engineering, plus a fixed-price 5-day Technical Audit. It works remote-first with clients worldwide.
What services does Coreframe Labs offer?
Nine service lines, led by AI Automation & Agentic Systems (voice agents, WhatsApp/omnichannel intake, n8n/Make integration hardened with retries and idempotency) and Staff Augmentation (developers from our distributed engineering network, matched to your stack): AI & machine learning solutions, RAG & retrieval pipelines, solutions architecture, full-stack development, data infrastructure & analytics, performance engineering, and a 5-day Technical Audit. Typical stack: React 19, Next.js 15, TypeScript, Django 5, Python, Node.js, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Apache Spark, Redis, and Azure (AKS, Data Lake, AD).
Do you offer staff augmentation or dedicated developers?
Yes — developers from our distributed engineering network, matched to your stack, with every commit and PR reviewed before it ships. £85–£200/day, billed monthly, depending on role and seniority — a published range, not a number you book a call to hear. It's different from a Retainer: a retainer buys outcomes run on our process, staff augmentation buys capacity inside yours. Same contracting discipline as everywhere else: a Statement of Work with IP assignment, 3-month minimum, 30 days' notice either way after that. For architecture-heavy or highly ambiguous work, scoped Development at the day-rate below is the better fit.
How much does Coreframe Labs cost?
Five pricing shapes, all public. The Technical Audit is fixed-price by company stage: solo founders £1,500–£2,500, funded startups £3,000–£5,000, SMEs £3,000–£6,000. The Automation Sprint is fixed-price at £4,500–£7,500 for a two-week scope, 50% deposit. Development is £650–£850 per day, minimum 10 days, 25% up front. Staff Augmentation runs £85–£200 per day, billed monthly, depending on role and seniority. Retainers run £2,500–£9,000 per month depending on scope. There are no discovery-call paywalls.
How fast can we start, and how long do projects take?
A Technical Audit runs exactly 5 business days from kickoff. Scoped builds are typically specced within a week of first contact; a RAG pipeline usually lands in 2–6 weeks, and larger platform work is broken into milestones so you see progress from the first sprint.
Who owns the code, models, and deliverables?
You do. Code, configurations, fine-tuned artefacts, reports, and documentation produced in an engagement belong to the client on payment. There is no lock-in — the audit remediation plan is explicitly written so you can execute it without us.
How does Coreframe Labs handle our data?
Work happens in your infrastructure wherever possible — your Azure/AWS tenancy, your access controls (Azure AD and role-based access as standard). We sign NDAs on request, don't train models on your data, and don't move data outside your environment without written agreement. The free lite audit stores nothing, redacts detected secrets before analysis, and retains nothing beyond 24 hours.
Which AI models does Coreframe Labs build on?
Foundation models via API — Anthropic's Claude and OpenAI models shipped to production — plus open-weight models served through Groq, which is what this site's own assistant and free audit tool run on. That choice is itself the point: model selection is benchmarked against your actual task and budget, never defaulted.
Where is Coreframe Labs based, and does it work remotely?
Coreframe Labs Ltd is a UK-registered company operating remote-first with clients worldwide. Engagements run async-friendly with regular calls in your timezone's working hours.
What results has Coreframe Labs delivered?
Measured outcomes include: a critical aggregation query cut from 42,000ms to 380ms (110x) on a 1-billion-row dataset after benchmarking ClickHouse against PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB; an enterprise dashboard taken from 20 seconds to under 1 second with a two-tier Redis cache holding a 94% hit rate; 50,000+ points rendered at 60fps; a sub-200ms voice-AI pipeline; +25% monthly active users in three months; 40% less QA debugging time; and 95% on-time delivery across a 17-engineer team.
How do I start working with Coreframe Labs?
Email info@coreframe-labs.dev with a short description of what you're building. For an existing system that feels slow, fragile, or expensive, the Technical Audit is the fastest way in: 5 business days to a written report, a live findings call, and a remediation proposal. You can also run the free lite audit at /audit — paste one file and get up to three evidenced findings, no account needed.
